Impedance Behaviour Of Different Cores
Impedance Behaviour Of Different Cores
By selecting different cores for filter chokes, the impedance behavior over frequency can be influenced. The range of impedance maxima extends from 100kOhm at 1 MHz to a few kOhm at 250 MHz.
Operating Temperature
Operating Temperature
Filter chokes can be operated at 100% of their rated current up to ambient temperatures of approximately 110°C. Beyond this, the curve drops steeply. At 140°C only about 40% of the rated current is permissible.
